Annual carnival with woodchop, markets, fishing competition and fireworks. Held in January.

East Coast Blues and Roots Festival

Easter Art Classic
The art classic provides an opportunity for local artists to exhibit their work. Prizes are awarded at the opening night celebration. Held annually at Easter.

Splendour in the Grass

Byron Bay Writers Festival
National and international authors talking about their work, and conducting workshops and panel discussions. Held in July/August.

Bangalow Music Festival

Northern Rivers Herb Festival
The Northern Rivers Herb Festival features regional cuisine, youthful entertainment and herb education. Held in August.

A Taste of Byron
Held in October, this is an annual celebration of the food and culture of Byron and beyond.

Byron Bay Beachfront Craft Fair
Beachfront fair before the New Year. Strictly 100% regionally made products. Event lasts from 8am to 5pm.
